Gillette set out to create a revolutionary brand centered around the testimonial, "Don't be afraid. Embrace the bald." Within this billion-dollar industry, we embarked on designing a razor specifically for people who shave their heads. The goal was to leverage the technology needed to provide a premium experience that complements an equally premium handle design.

We began by understanding the ergonomics of head shaving through consumer research and agile testing. Leveraging quick-turnaround testing methodologies with the use of 3D printing and small-batch consumer studies, we discovered that, with hair loss, there is more than just a physical component; there is also an emotional one. To be successful, we needed to craft a design that men could proudly showcase to their friends while delivering a premium, distinctive experience.
